Help the Hospices is the national charity for the hospice movement. We are at the heart of more than £400 million worth of care and form a direct link to over 220 local adult and children's hospices in the UK .

We support these hospices in their vital work on the front line of caring for people living with a terminal illness. We do this by providing hospices with funding, specialist training, free information and advice, and by giving a national voice to their interests and concerns. This support is offered to the whole hospice community – patients and their loved ones, professional staff, volunteers and carers.

Our vision is of a world in which the best possible care is available to all people at the end of life, whatever their circumstances.

Help the Hospices was founded in 1984 by Anne Duchess of Norfolk.
