SUNFLOWER POWER

After months of gruelling training regimes, the big day finally arrived for the Help the Hospices Sunflower Running Team.

Months of hard work paid off on the day as over 170 runners pounded the streets of London on behalf of Help the Hospices.

All of our Sunflower Runners did amazingly well and we cannot thank them enough for all their efforts. We would also like to extend our thanks to those who supported our runners, through sponsorship or by cheering them along the course on the day. Every contribution was immensely valuable and appreciated.

With over 1000 other marathon runners taking part for their local hospices, and 100's of supporters cheering them along the route, the London Marathon was once again a huge showcase for both Help the Hospices and the Hospice Movement in general.

We hope everyone enjoyed the day as much as we did.
